Desktop Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support professional with 4-5 years of experience to provide L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals. This role involves troubleshooting OS and hardware issues, performing installations and upgrades, and ensuring seamless user support.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and manage Windows 11 on laptops and desktops.
• Resolve user issues related to OS, hardware, network configuration, and software/applications.
• Provide L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Perform OS installations, upgrades, patching, and driver updates.
• Use EUC tools such as SCCM for endpoint patching and Intune for mobile device management.
• Install and configure hardware and software/applications.
• Utilize problem/ticket management systems like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira.
• Leverage remote support tools (Bomgar, LogMeIn, MS Teams) to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty services.
• Work with endpoint security tools, including anti-virus, device encryption, and Trend Micro.
• Collaborate with other functional teams to resolve escalated issues.
• Ensure SLA compliance for tickets, escalations, and service requests.
• Lead and drive projects independently when required.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in desktop support managing laptops/desktops on Windows 7/10/11.
• Strong experience in Windows 10/11 administration, Microsoft Office/365, and Active Directory/Azure AD.
• Proficiency with endpoint management tools (SCCM/Intune) and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, etc.).
• Familiarity with remote support tools (Bomgar, LogMeIn, MS Teams).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$65,000 - $85,000 a year
