Desktop Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist with 4-5 years of experience to provide L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals. The role involves diagnosing and resolving user issues, performing OS installations and upgrades, and ensuring endpoint security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows 11 on laptops and desktops.
• Resolve user issues related to OS, hardware, network configuration, and software/applications.
• Provide L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Perform OS installations, upgrades, patching, and driver updates.
• Use EUC tools such as SCCM for endpoint patching and Intune for mobile device management.
• Install and configure hardware and software/applications.
• Utilize problem/ticket management systems like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira.
• Leverage remote support tools (e.g., Bomgar, LogMeIn, MS Teams) to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty services.
• Work with endpoint security tools, including anti-virus, device encryption, and Trend Micro.
• Collaborate with other functional teams to escalate and resolve issues.
• Ensure SLA compliance for tickets, escalations, and service requests.
• Lead and drive projects independently when required.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in desktop support managing laptops/desktops on Windows 7/10/11.
• Strong experience with Windows 10/11 administration, Microsoft Office/365, and Active Directory/Azure AD.
• Proficiency with endpoint management tools (SCCM/Intune) and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira).
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with remote support tools and endpoint security solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$60,000 - $85,000 a year
