Designer, Water/Wastewater

About the role

The Designer III – Engineering is responsible for independently performing the design throughout all phases of multiple simultaneous projects and developing technical aspects throughout all project phases.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to project teams regarding detailing, code analysis, project documentation, construction administration, and other project-centric processes.
• Provide technical detailing with a variety of construction materials and systems.
• Collaborate with designers and teams to translate design concepts into sound technical solutions.
• May mentor and begin to supervise others.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience.
• Proficiency in computer software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant working as part of a multi-design discipline team.
