About the role
This role supports our Chicago market and is open to a fully remote candidate. The primary responsibilities include overseeing project design progression from inception to completion, developing a comprehensive design plan to meet schedules and budgets, participating in team and on-site progress meetings, understanding and following all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications, and ensuring AHJ requirements and procedures are followed.Responsibilities

Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in the design of fire alarms or low-voltage systems
- Previous experience working in Revit and AutoCAD
- Prior large project design experience, especially in data centers
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge, and pre-planning and executing tasks with great detail
- NICET Certification preferred
- Experience with Navisworks, Revizto, or other BIM tools preferred

- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize among assignments with strong adherence to deadlines
- Team-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
- Understanding of fire alarm and low-voltage system design
- Experience with data center projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and specifications
- Experience with BIM tools (Navisworks, Revizto)
