Designer (Seasonal)

Major League Baseball is looking for a Designer in the Brand Design Department to support the development and execution of visual branding and a wide range of graphic design projects across key Major League Baseball initiatives. Responsibilities Assisting in the creation and refinement of branding for MLB events, initiatives, properties, products, commemorative marks, and campaign identitiesContributing to the development of brand style guides and visual systemsCreate production-ready artAssist with the development of League branding guidelinesHelping establish and maintain consistency in branding across all MLB platformsCollaborating with all MLB Global Designers, including MLB Digital, Social, and International teamsCreation and implementation of templates and graphic systemsReviewing and refining design assets to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and creative directionSupporting the rollout of visual identities across league-wide campaigns, events, and platformsSales and partnership presentationsEvents and environmental designConsumer product inspiration boards, uniforms, and licensee toolkitsRetail and point-of-sale experiencesBroadcast and promotional materialsInternal concept boards, mockups, and creative strategy decksProviding clear direction to external partnersReviewing work to ensure alignment with brand strategy and creative standardsManaging feedback loops and production timelinesExperiential activations and installationsCredentials, invitations, signage, and collateral for marquee league eventsPre- and post-production support as needed Qualifications & Skills Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in branding, graphic design, or visual identity systemsStrong portfolio showcasing logo development, brand systems, and applied designClear understanding of how brand identity translates across digital, social, print, and physical environmentsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Experience working with presentation platforms such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google SlidesStrong organization and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders Pay Range: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
