Responsibilities

• Constructability, operability, and maintainability of the project design.
• Development of design configurations associated with the various systems that apply.
• Providing comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design.
• Preparation of detailed design drawings, in accordance with engineering design, required as project deliverables.
• Maintaining a Job Data Book which contains all the pertinent information used during project design.
• Reviewing drawings for completeness, overall quality, and adherence to standards.
• Ensuring all drawings have been properly checked.
• Preparing and/or directing the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal relative to all project deliverables.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 5 - 10 years of working experience.
• Minimum experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or CadWorx.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate.
• Attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in AutoCad, CADWorx, or Plant 3D preferred.
• Field experience preferred.
