About the Role
We are seeking a Designer on a contract basis to support business needs. This role is 100% onsite in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
- Create original concepts that encompass style, color, and fabric by interpreting fashion trends.
- Produce sketches and may make seasonal presentations of proposed designs.
- Analyze fashion trends.
- Partner with sourcing and materials development.
- Provide basic fit and body block information and attend fit sessions.
- Typically reports to a Design Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.
- Related design experience.
