Designer II (Interiors)

Description

RIOS is an international design collective committed to fostering wonder through design. We practice interconnected design across architecture, placemaking, and landscape architecture, believing that design is an optimistic act of invention and idea change. Our process begins with attunement, where program and context guide strong conceptual thinking to establish a holistic big idea, informing form, function, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement project design visions from concept to completion through critical design thinking, iteration, and active problem-solving
• Collaborate with internal and external clients to skillfully work towards project goals
• Contribute to the development of bold, inclusive, and resilient design solutions
• Submit samples of drawings (furniture plans, millwork elevations), completed work (install photos if available), and client presentation pages for FF&A scope from a past project

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Bachelor of Architecture, with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in an interior design studio
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Revit, Bluebeam, and Miro
• High-end residential experience and knowledge of the FF&A process and vendors
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
