Designer/CADD Technician

About the role

Dewberry has an opportunity for a Designer/CADD Technician to join our Civil/Land Development Group in our Tallahassee, FL office and participate on the Civil Design team working with engineers, project managers, and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan preparation of residential, multi-family, and commercial projects
• Grading, pipe networks, alignments, profiles, sections, and redline drafting for conceptual, preliminary, final design drawings
• Perform site inspections
• Coordinate with other team members including engineers, managers, administrative staff, and construction staff members

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience with emphasis in land development projects
• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred for creating surfaces, alignments, and profiles
• Willingness to assist with a wide range of project tasks and work with multiple project managers
• Strong interest in all phases of Civil Engineering including land development, utilities, water resources, and construction
• High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to ask for additional direction and assistance when needed
• Willingness to perform site inspection for construction projects within our client service area
