Designer

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prescriptions, work orders, and special instructions for designs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in dental anatomy and terminology.
• Design at least two major product groups.
• Meet tight deadlines while consistently producing quality devices.

Requirements

• High school diploma; two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient understanding of basic SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and drafting skills is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple notes.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

• Good hand skills and keen eye for details.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and use feet to operate foot controls.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
