Designer

The position is listed on behalf of a partner company managing all applications and next steps. A Designer is needed based in the United States to support critical infrastructure projects through high-quality technical design and mapping solutions.

About the role

• Develop, review, and validate final project deliverables in collaboration with Project Managers and Survey & Mapping Managers to maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.
• Create and update alignment sheets, property plats, detailed construction drawings, exhibit drawings, and permit documentation.
• Design pipeline layouts and mapping solutions using survey data, field notes, and project-specific information.
• Interpret technical data and convert project requirements into accurate and professional design documents.
• Assemble complete delivery packages according to client specifications and project requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of design processes, documentation standards, and project workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate technical documentation and support the delivery of pipeline and mapping projects.
• Show strong attention to detail, quality control expertise, and collaborative skills with project stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Transform complex inputs into accurate design packages using survey data, field information, and engineering requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in mapping and pipeline design with strong technical skills and the ability to manage detailed engineering documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design workflows.
• A strong understanding of preparing complete drawing and documentation packages.
• Previous experience supporting natural gas pipeline projects is required.
• Ability to interpret survey information, field notes, and technical requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to delivering accurate, client-focused results.
