Department: ArchitectureLocation: San FranciscoCompensation: $75,000 - $105,000 / year Description As a Designer at Foster + Partners, you'll help shape innovative and inspiring architectural projects, working alongside talented multidisciplinary teams to bring design concepts to life. Whether you're developing drawings, models and visualisations or exploring design options, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects while growing your technical expertise and design capabilities in a collaborative, creative environment. This role is ideal if you want to: Prepare, develop and edit drawings, models, images and other design documentation on high-profile projects.Build a deep understanding of the design process and how great architecture comes together.Explore and communicate design options for discussion and development within a creative team.Gain valuable professional experience while working alongside industry-leading designers.Be part of a collaborative culture that values creativity, diversity and continuous learning. What you will bring to the team: Evidence of a good design understanding, demonstrated through a strong portfolio.Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design project.Self-motivation and the confidence to take ownership of your work.Initiative and a proactive approach to managing day-to-day responsibilities.Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of an effective team.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.Experience using Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, along with diverse rendering software would be advantageous.
