About the role

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position will focus on substation design assignments, including general arrangements, elevations, grounding plans, conduit plans, bus details, bill of materials preparation, and schematic and wiring diagram creation.

Responsibilities

• Develop substation general arrangements, elevations, grounding plans, conduit plans, bus details
• Create bill of materials based on project engineer guidance
• Prepare schematics and wiring diagrams

Requirements

• College degree in an acceptable curriculum or two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design
• Minimum of two years concentrated on the job experience in computer-aided drafting/design field
• Average of 5 years of concentrated computer-aided drafting experience or sufficient CADD knowledge supplemented by industrial, construction or construction management experience
• Proven effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proven excellent level of interpersonal skills
• Ability to work individually and on a team
• Detail-oriented and possesses high organizational skills
• Possesses proven ability to work with confidential information
• Possesses proven ability to exercise independent judgment
