What You'll Do
- Interpret fashion trends and translate them into original seasonal designs
- Produce sketches and contribute to seasonal presentations
- Partner closely with sourcing and materials development teams
- Provide fit and body block information
- Attend fit sessions as needed – owning the design process from concept through execution
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in cut & sew and/or sweater design
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret fashion trends
- Proficiency in design sketching and seasonal presentation development
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sourcing and materials teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Details
- Reports to Design Director
- 5 days onsite in New York, NY
- 6-month W2 contract, full-time
