Models are often trained on data that are already learned, irrelevant, or even harmful, leading to worse models that cost more to train and deploy. At DatologyAI, we've developed a state-of-the-art data curation suite to automatically curate and optimize petabytes of data, creating the best possible training data for your models. Training on curated data can significantly reduce training time and cost, improve model performance, and allow for smaller, more efficient models.
We've raised a total of $57.5M in two rounds, with investors including Felicis Ventures, Radical Ventures, Amplify Partners, Microsoft, Amazon, and experts like Geoff Hinton, Yann LeCun, Jeff Dean, and others who understand the importance of identifying and optimizing training data. Our team has pioneered this research area and brings deep expertise in both data research and engineering.
The Role
We are seeking a versatile Designer who will own visual communication across DatologyAI. This is a high-ownership, low-bureaucracy environment where you will work directly with leadership and have a significant impact on how DatologyAI looks and feels externally. You will be responsible for:
- Marketing & Brand Design (Primary): Design marketing assets including social content, one-pagers, decks, email campaigns, and event materials
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines as the company grows
- Partner with GTM and leadership to produce compelling, on-brand visual content
- Create branded swag and physical assets (stickers, merch, conference collateral)
- Comfortable writing clear, on-brand copy, from headlines and social captions to one-pager narratives and product microcopy
Product Design (Secondary)
- Contribute to product UI and UX as capacity and roadmap allow
- Design reusable components that scale across our digital interfaces
- Support the team with interaction design, wireframes, or visual polish when needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure design consistency across touchpoints
What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For
- 3 - 6 years of design experience, with a strong portfolio spanning marketing and brand work
- Proficiency in Figma; comfortable across the Adobe suite or equivalent tools
- Genuine range: you can design a compelling one-pager and a product screen with equal confidence
- Strong illustration and animation skills, with an eye for how motion and interaction bring a brand to life
- Strong visual instincts and attention to detail, with the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality
- Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity; you do not need a fully defined brief to do great work
- Experience at an early-stage startup is a plus, as is familiarity with technical or B2B products
- Nice to Have: Motion design or video editing experience, Background in developer tools, AI, or data infrastructure, Experience building or maintaining a design system
Compensation
At DatologyAI, we are dedicated to rewarding talent with competitive salary and meaningful equity. The salary for this position ranges from $180,000 to $250,000. Starting pay is based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and interview performance. Our benefits are built to support your well-being and growth:
