About the role

Crate and Barrel Designers help customers visualize home design trends and build long-term relationships by guiding them through furnishing projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and provide enriching customer interactions
• Create elevated designs for customers using preferred design tools
• Conduct customer outreach and develop design packages to brand standards
• Ensure timely follow-up on design projects
• Maintain product presentation and use of tools and technology
• Collaborate with store and design teams to support business goals

Requirements

• Possess a clear understanding of the brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy
• Understand and communicate product information and industry trends
• Meet individual sales, KPI, and service goals
• Provide excellent service and demonstrate selling skills
• Network and clientelize with customers
• Stay updated on design trends and technology

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic design functions including spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, and interior design styles
• Effective and timely communication skills
• Strong affinity for technology (2D and 3D tools, Google suite, video conferencing)
• Proficient in floor planning
• Ability to stay updated on current design trends

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to translate the brand vision and customer needs
• Proven track record of building long-lasting relationships with customers
