About the role

Crate and Barrel Designers help customers visualize home design trends and build long-term relationships by guiding them through furnishing projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and provide enriching customer interactions
• Create elevated designs for customers using preferred design tools
• Conduct customer outreach and develop design packages to brand standards
• Ensure timely follow-up and deliver projects within determined timelines
• Stay updated on brand aesthetics and product information
• Engage customers on the sales floor by demonstrating selling skills
• Network and clientelize to build lasting relationships

Requirements

• Possess a clear understanding of brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy
• Understand and apply basic design functions such as spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, and interior design styles
• Communicate effectively and translate the brand vision to customers
• Be proficient in technology tools like 2D and 3D design software, Google Suite, and virtual communication
• Staying informed on current design trends and industry developments
• Build long-lasting relationships with customers

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in furniture sales, home decor design, or retail/customer service
• Experience working one-on-one with clients and recommending solutions
• Proficiency in Google platforms and virtual communication
• Experience with design tools
