What You Will Do:
- Execute the design or integration of new components into existing installations.
- Develop and propose fits, tolerances, and design changes for engineering review.
- Define and select components, assemblies, or systems meeting business standards and program/product requirements.
- Create new Bills of Materials (BOMs) tailored to customer installations.
- Modify existing BOMs and drawings to support product revisions or enhancements.
- Aid engineers in preparing technical data for internal and external customers.
- Process Engineering Work Requests, incorporating any necessary drawing or BOM updates.
- Collaborate closely with ACI/Cooper's drafting resources to ensure accuracy and timely updates of new or revised drawings.
Who You Are:
- You Have:
- A Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or Drafting.
- An Associate of Applied Science in Drafting or Design.
- A Mechanical Drafting Technical Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product design or drafting, preferably with a background in compression and/or engines.
- Proficiency in CAD Software, preferably Solid Edge or Solid Works.
- A strong understanding of industry standards and ASME Code knowledge.
- Preferred:
- Product design or drafting experience in compression and/or engines.
