Designer

What You Will Do:

• Execute the design or integration of new components into existing installations.
• Develop and propose fits, tolerances, and design changes for engineering review.
• Define and select components, assemblies, or systems meeting business standards and program/product requirements.
• Create new Bills of Materials (BOMs) tailored to customer installations.
• Modify existing BOMs and drawings to support product revisions or enhancements.
• Aid engineers in preparing technical data for internal and external customers.
• Process Engineering Work Requests, incorporating any necessary drawing or BOM updates.
• Collaborate closely with ACI/Cooper's drafting resources to ensure accuracy and timely updates of new or revised drawings.

Who You Are:

• You Have:
• A Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or Drafting.
• An Associate of Applied Science in Drafting or Design.
• A Mechanical Drafting Technical Certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product design or drafting, preferably with a background in compression and/or engines.
• Proficiency in CAD Software, preferably Solid Edge or Solid Works.
• A strong understanding of industry standards and ASME Code knowledge.
• Preferred:
• Product design or drafting experience in compression and/or engines.
