Designer

Responsibilities

• Using SolidWorks to generate detailed models for submittal drawings, production build packages, and electrical drawings.
• Generating pre-purchased parts lists for the Purchasing Department.
• Resolving design problems.
• Reviewing and analyzing specifications.
• Specifying dimensions, materials, and procedures.
• Drafting technical details.
• Working with the application engineers to solve issues and improve designs.
• Consulting technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase.
• Providing design input on new and custom products.
• Creating and storing drawings electronically.
• Preparing variations of design.

Requirements

• Year Drafting Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience with Colmac products/practices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay

$22.00/hr - $31.63/hr DOE.

Schedule

Regular shifts are Monday -- Friday with overtime as needed. Day shift hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and swing shift hours are 2:15 pm to 10:45 pm.
