Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce detailed CADD drawings and plans based on survey data and project requirements.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of survey data and incorporate it into digital design files.
  • Collaborate with survey teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure design intent and specifications are met.
  • Maintain and update CADD standards, templates, and libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CADD software and data integration.
  • Train and mentor junior CADD specialists to enhance team capabilities and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Drafting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in CADD drafting within the construction or surveying industry.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard CADD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles, land development processes, and construction documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical data.

Qualifications

  • GIS knowledge and 3D modeling skills are preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting technical survey information and resolving discrepancies.
  • Mentoring and collaboration skills to foster a productive team environment.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $37.50 - $37.50/hr.
