Responsibilities

• Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide new and innovative product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
• Collaborates with internal and external manufacturing planners to promote efficient product development, mitigate non-conformances, and provide disposition as necessary.
• Participates in product qualification and testing activities.
• Capable of taking the roughest concept and working in conjunction with engineering to develop a new product with minimal guidance.
• Capable of prioritizing work across peer group through influence while aligning to the priorities of multiple projects and department needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Preferred: Associates or bachelor’s degree
• Preferred: Certification in SolidWorks
• Preferred: Certificate or Administrative experience in Solidworks PDM
• Minimum of (5) years’ work experience in an engineering environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task on multiple projects at one time
• Must be able to recognize and be discreet with sensitive business-related materials
• Must be able to work with people to accomplish assigned tasks
• Must be able to read, understand, learn and follow written and verbal safety, quality and work instructions
• Must possess technical aptitude, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Must be able to use Solidworks computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software at an expert level
• Experience with Microsoft Office for spreadsheets, reports and other communications
• Experience with SolidWorks for mechanical design, AutoCad
• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
• Able to work independently
• Prioritize individuals with deepwater riser or subsea experience
