Designated Manager (245D Licensed Programs)

About the role

The Designated Manager (DM) is responsible for the overall management, compliance, and operational excellence of the company’s Minnesota 245D-licensed Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) programs. This individual serves as the DHS-recognized Designated Manager, ensuring compliance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 245D, while fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and person-centered care. The DM will be a key leader within the organization, collaborating with executive leadership to shape operational systems, guide Designated Coordinators, maintain full regulatory readiness and drive exceptionalism with a mindset of excellence and growth.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance & Oversight
  • Serve as the Designated Manager per Minnesota Statute 245D.081, responsible for daily oversight of program operations.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with 245D, 245A, and related Minnesota rules, including service delivery, documentation, staff training, and incident reporting.
  • Oversee licensing renewals, variances, audits, and investigations.
  • Maintain and implement company policies, procedures, and corrective action plans in accordance with DHS and MDH requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits and internal audits to verify compliance and quality standards.
• Leadership & Staff Development
  • Provide supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluation for Designated Coordinators
