About the role

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactive Tech Strategy: Evaluate industry trends (including emerging AI utilities) to determine what solutions are successfully rising to the top; build structured, monthly findings reports to guide firm leadership on strategic implementation.
  • BIM Governance & Collaboration: Manage high-level oversight of the firm's remote, contract BIM support desks; partner closely with studio project teams to establish consistent documentation and modeling standards.
  • Studio Evangelism: Act as an engaging champion for digital workflows, establishing a network of studio "ambassadors" and super-users to comfortably pilot new tools across project teams.
  • Cross-Department Alignment: Work alongside the internal IT department to evaluate technology licensing, system compatibility, and resource security.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of design technology leadership. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of design technology leadership specifically within an A/E/C environment (architecture or engineering backgrounds are highly preferred).
  • Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Familiarity with design innovation infrastructure: Prior working exposure to computational design, automation frameworks, or visualization environments (such as Dynamo, Python, Rhino, or Grasshopper) to successfully assess their programmatic advantages.
  • Outstanding Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to work fluidly across a flat organizational structure, build high-trust relationships with studio principals, and clearly articulate complex technical value points.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset who thrives with minimal hand-holding and actively advocates for strategic roadmaps.
