About the role
The Design Technician is responsible for assisting in the design and development of electrical systems within a facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings and specifications for electrical projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical issues and improve designs.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to electrical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering or construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
