Design Steel Detailer

The Opportunity

You will play a pivotal role in the Design & Technical division, transforming architectural concepts into high-precision fabrication plans. This hands-on position allows you to directly influence the production of iconic stair and railing systems across New England. You will join a collaborative team where your technical expertise ensures every weld and bolt matches the company's elite quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD detailing specifically for metal fabrication or construction.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or comparable industry-standard CAD software.
• Strong technical understanding of metal fabrication processes, material properties, and assembly techniques.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on precision and accuracy.
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving and a high degree of "user-friendly" communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience working directly with shop fabricators to troubleshoot design-to-build challenges.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adopt proprietary company drafting standards.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with varying degrees of technical complexity.
