About the role
Stryker is seeking to hire a Design Engineer to support Stryker Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) Division. This role has a direct impact on healthcare by designing customized patient implants. This is a remote role supporting the West Coast. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Pacific Time Zone.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Working on the Patient Specific Solutions team, providing surgeons with the options they need to successfully treat very complex cases.
- Designing and developing patient specific implants, where a patient may not have other options.
- Using CAD software to design these custom patient implants.
- Collaborating and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams including regulatory, quality, engineer standards, manufacturing, and sterility.
- Understanding the anatomy of the body through courses to help you learn.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline. Biomedical or Mechanical preferred.
- 0-2 years of product design experience.
- Experience in CAD.
- Preferred: Knowledge of design controls and risk management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay ranges: USN: $69,500 - $110,900 USD Annual
US5: $73,000 - $116,400 USD Annual
US10: $76,500 - $122,000 USD Annual
US15: $79,900 - $127,500 USD Annual
US20: $83,400 - $133,100 USD Annual
US30: $90,400 - $144,200 USD Annual
