About the role
The Planning Layer team is responsible for ensuring that engineering teams can effectively coordinate and plan around coding agents, which are becoming increasingly sophisticated at writing code. Our goal is to mitigate the costs associated with poor planning by providing tools and processes that enhance collaboration and alignment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain planning frameworks and tools to support the integration of coding agents into existing workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their needs and challenges related to agent integration.
- Identify and implement best practices for planning and coordination to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Conduct regular reviews and optimizations of planning processes based on feedback and new insights.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering or project management.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and their application in complex environments.
- Experience with integrating new technologies into existing systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with coding agents and their impact on software development processes.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
