Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to develop custom and standard door solutions using SolidWorks 3D CAD software. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Sales, Operations, and Engineering teams to support product development, review customer specifications, and provide engineering support during manufacturing and sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Create product models and prepare submittal and fabrication drawings
• Process engineering change orders
• Conduct design analyses for compliance with structural and mechanical criteria
• Inspect products and produce technical documentation
• Support R&D initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
• 5+ years of experience preferred
• Proficiency in 3D parametric software (SolidWorks, Inventor, CREO)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, technical, and mathematical skills
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and attention to detail

Skills

• Electrical experience (advantageous)
• Willingness to travel domestically (advantageous)
