Responsibilities
- Owning the full UX/UI vision for new features and products
- Building interactive prototypes that communicate intent beyond static mocks
- Defining and evolving the design system and component language
- Partnering with engineers to hand off specs and refine implementation details
- Exploring experimental interfaces and pushing the boundaries of what social apps can look and feel like
- Maintaining a high visual quality bar from concept through shipped product
Requirements
- 4+ years blending UX/UI design with frontend prototyping
- Strong design sensibility and visual taste
- Expertise in Figma and UX (systems thinking, interaction design, prototyping)
- Solid React/HTML/CSS/JS chops for building proof-of-concepts
- Experience designing for social, consumer, or culturally-driven products
- Portfolio demonstrating original, forward-thinking design work and functional prototypes you've built
- Bonus: Experience with motion design and animation (Framer Motion, GSAP, After Effects)
- Bonus: Native mobile design experience (iOS/Android patterns)
- Bonus: Graphic design, art direction, or brand design background
