Design Engineer

Aerospace Primary and Secondary Structure Design

Must have expertise in Catia V5 (Workbench – Part Design, Assembly Design, Sheetmetal, Generative Shape Design (GSD), 3D Functional Tolerancing and Annotations (FTA)).

Relational and Parametric Modelling

Must have good knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) and understanding of Engineering drawings in both 2D/Model Based Definition (MBD).

Manufacturing Drawings

Create manufacturing (detail, assembly, installation) 2D Drawings/3D MBD as per ASME Standard.

Tolerance Stack Up and Compliance

Design of components considering Tolerance stack up, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Team Coordination and Communication

Must be able to coordinate and communicate with the team members.

PLM Software Experience

• Experience in PLM Software Enovia, 3D Experience

Sustenance and Change Request Projects

Experience in Sustenance and Change Request projects.

Advantages

• Experience in Boeing Project and Catia Composite Part Design (CPD) workbench
• CAD Automation experience

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering
• 4-5 years of experience in an engineering classification / position

Comprehensive Knowledge

• Aircraft life cycle, Fuselage & Systems
• Aerospace structures & payloads design

Additional Skills

• Experience in Aerospace structures & payloads design, CATIA V5
• Experience in an Aircraft or Aerospace Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of CAD tool CATIA V5, PLM tool ENOVIA, CAD Automation, 3D Experience

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office - advanced skill level

Industry Knowledge

Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards.
