Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret customer drawings, to prepare BOMs for project release to manufacturing
- Read customers order entry system, WinCAT, to prepare BOM's for project release to manufacturing
- Work with engineering manager or coordinator to schedule projects
- Create and modify SW models to create products for drawings or WinCAT
- Engage with manufacturing to design error free parts and understand how parts flow through the plant
- Able to work with engineers oversees, including scheduling, prioritizing, and per reviewing their work
- Able to manage your own projects from design, manufacturer, to assembly
Requirements
- Computer software knowledge including Microsoft office products
- Excellent communication skills (phone, written, verbal)
- Strong analytical, organizational, inter-personal, and detail-oriented skills and abilities
- Demonstrated success in teamwork and continuous improvement
- Strong commitment to excellence in customer service
- Self-motivated with the ability to make judgement calls and work with little supervision
- Minimum travel, may span weekends and or holidays
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- 3D modeling experience, Solidworks preferred
- Sheet metal experience, punching, laser, forming, welding, etc.
- MRP experience, item master, bill of material, etc.
- Experience with sheet metal laboratory casework a plus
