Job Responsibilities
- Manage orders to meet OTP objectives, reduce cycle times, handle order changes, and assist with product warranty.
- Stay updated on product engineering technologies, competitor capabilities, market conditions, and channels.
- Provide engineering functions for product marketing, manufacturing, and sales.
- Act as the technical contact for customers, addressing product application, performance, compliance, and complex issues.
- Review and analyze product configurations, perform engineering calculations, and collaborate with drafting, purchasing, and manufacturing teams.
- Engage in product design, market and product improvements, and initiatives for productivity, quality, and safety.
- Participate in customer project review and drawing approval meetings.
- Calculate, review, track, and assign pricing, and support bill of material comparisons and adder requests.
- Lead customer inspections and witness tests.
- Oversee customer order execution, from understanding requirements to finalizing engineering work, entering data into the AS400 system, and monitoring orders through to shipping and installation support.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in 3D CAD systems (e.g., AutoCAD Inventor) for electro-mechanical assemblies.
