Design Engineer

About the role

Dedalus Labs is an AI neolab building the compute substrate for an agent-native economy. Our flagship product, Dedalus Machines, is the fastest persistent computer for AI agents.

Responsibilities

We are looking for individuals who can contribute to our mission of changing the world through technology. This includes but is not limited to:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features for Dedalus Machines.
• Contribute to the development of machine learning models and algorithms that power our products.
• Work on optimizing our compute infrastructure to support the needs of AI agents.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of our work.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and computing technologies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A strong background in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with machine learning and/or deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in AI development, such as Python, C++, or Rust.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud computing platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
