Core Responsibilities
- Design/Create 3D models, 2D General Assembly drawings, and BOM’s of plastic injection hot runner systems for customers using SW 2024.
- Solve problems and address open questions between customers and MS.
- Monitor projects and distribute project data & information to relevant departments – demonstrated expertise in PLM data management (TC).
- Coordinate transmission of engineering data to local and global manufacturing departments as well as outside vendors.
Qualifications
- About 5 years of design experience that included the use and interpretation of engineering design drawings, 3D models, with a focus on toolmaking, special machine construction or injection molding.
- Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling and drafting familiarity (Solid Works, Creo, I-Deas, etc.).
- PLM expertise is highly valued and will be a key differentiator.
- Familiarity with ANSI Y.14.5 and/or ISO 1101 GD&T standards.
- Excel skills required, able to learn new software applications.
- Team orientated.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
