About the role
As a Design Consultant for Closet Factory Houston, you will work directly with homeowners to diagnose storage problems that stem from the space itself, design custom, built‑for‑life solutions using our software, present the design and price, and guide the client to a decision. The role is consultative, personal, and impactful, requiring you to sit with discomfort, handle objections, and stay in the conversation until a clear decision is reached. You will work from home, in client homes, and at the office, following up on company‑generated leads with no cold calling or prospecting.

- Attend weekly office hours, weekly sales meetings, and national meetings (twice a month).
- Track your own performance metrics and continuously improve your process.
- Participate in onboarding training and ongoing online university learning.

Skills
- Consultative selling and needs assessment.
