Open Position: Design Consultant
About the Role
Our Design Consultants are motivated, team and customer-oriented individuals who are ready to assist buyers as they move through the selections and pre-construction phase of the building process.
Responsibilities
- Assist buyers in the selections and pre-construction phase of the building process
- Work closely with customers to translate their ideas, wants, and needs into design choices
- Provide consultation services related to interior design, event planning, and space planning
- Read and interpret floor plans and construction prints
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Requirements
- Experience in interior design, consultation, event planning, space planning skills, and the ability to read floor plans and construction prints is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for design and home décor
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Detail-oriented with a high-level of organizational skills
- Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, outgoing, professional personality
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday; occasional weekends may be required
