Design Center Intern

Job Description

Leads the development of highly effective and engaging innovation labs.
Collaborates with the Design Center Team to ensure an inspiring, creative, open, and productive environment.
Develops prototypes as directed.
Supports primary research by developing research stimuli, taking observational notes, and recording focus group and interview notes.
Conducts secondary research, including online research, competitive analysis, trend analysis, data analytics, and reviewing white papers and industry reports.
Seeks out and participates in educational opportunities to learn new, creative approaches to facilitation, design thinking, prototyping, and innovation.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure design is incorporated into the co-creation process as appropriate.
Works independently on projects as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.

• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to develop highly visual and engaging presentations.
• Ability to sketch, develop information graphics, use of photography, video, and highly polished visualizations.

• New graduate or junior and senior student pursuing bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, User Experience Design, Human Centered Design, Innovation, Design Thinking, Sociology, Psychology, or like degree
