Design and Testing Technology Business Systems Consultant
About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Design and Testing Technology Business Systems Consultant. In this role, you will:
- Evaluate moderately complex business problems and provide technical assistance in identifying automated systems and related procedures that are cost-effective and meet business requirements.
- Review and evaluate moderately complex technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet based solutions.
- Present recommendations for resolving business problems.
- Exercise some independent judgment when developing project budgets, project plans, and schedules.
- Provide information about communication between business and technology teams.
- Work with business user groups to provide training, handle questions, observe user needs, and document results.
- Support project lifecycle; Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closure.
- Support testing lifecycle; Planning, Analysis, Design, Execution, Defect Management, Closure.
- Work with key stakeholders in Business/Product and Technology to understand objectives/requirements, target completion dates, and prioritize S/B priorities.
- Define/write requirements that meet the project objectives.
- Create test cases/scripts.
- Execute testing and defect management.
- Perform validation.
- Actively participate in project meetings.
- Provide communication and training to impacted operation teams.
- Report progress and/or issues.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications
- Payments Industry knowledge and experience.
- Experience supporting testing lifecycles.
- Working knowledge and experience with Mainframe, Agile Methodology, JIRA, and HoganStrong.
- Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skillset.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills.
Job Expectations
- Flexible schedule. M-F with a 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM start time.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule with a minimum three full days in the office per week and up to 2 full days remote.
- Opportunities for overtime based on business need.
Pay Range
The pay range reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. $36.06 - $54.81
