About the Opportunity
This is a unique blend of inside sales + consultative design that focuses on helping customers find the perfect flooring and home products for their space.
You will work in:
- Our showroom, guiding customers through the selection process
- The field/community (as needed), supporting in-home decisions and building relationships
What You'll Do
- Assist customers in selecting flooring and design options
- Identify customer needs and provide personalized recommendations
- Develop and manage quotes, orders, and project details
- Consistently follow up with customers before, during, and after the sale
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain the showroom to the highest standards (clean, current, organized)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and referrals
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences at every touchpoint
Requirements
- Self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in-store and in the community
- Will to learn and complete product/design training
Nice to Have
- Background in retail sales or commission-based sales
- Interest or experience in interior design, remodeling, or home improvement
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office + ability to learn internal systems)
- Reliable transportation for occasional in-home visits
