Dermatology Nurse Practitioner

The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing medical practice that provides residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities with top-of-line care. We are seeking a talented Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis, visiting 1-2 facilities monthly.

You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our elderly patients. The ideal candidate is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and patient observations
• Record patients' medical histories and symptoms
• Create and contribute to patient care plans
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests
• Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed
• Diagnose health issues and collaborate with the physician on call
• Administer medicine and other treatments

Requirements

• CNP/Certified Nurse Practitioner License
• Graduate of a state-registered Nurse Practitioner Program or certified by a National Association
• Dermatology experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home
• Either a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), or Nurse Practitioner (N.P.) specializing in Dermatology from an approved university
• Experience using diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and implement treatments
• Ability to manage a diverse staff and client base
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with the elderly
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• DEA certification required

Pay

$35.00 – $40.00 per patient or $60.00 – $65.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-time, 1-2 visits monthly
• Typical hours: 9 AM – 5 PM
• 7-8 hours per visit (including patient visits and paperwork)
• 20-25 patients per visit
