Dermatology Medical Receptionist - Nassau County

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, driven, and hard-working medical receptionist for our Queens locations. This position requires weekend flexibility and must be able to work between the hours of 8:45am to 7:00pm (start/end time may change depending on site).

Responsibilities

- Answering phones and scheduling appointments - Greeting patients and providing them with a welcoming environment - Managing patient records and ensuring accurate documentation - Handling insurance claims and billing - Maintaining a clean and organized office environment - Assisting physicians during consultations

Requirements

- 1+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Excellent computer skills, including eClinicalWorks - Detail-oriented and comfortable multi-tasking - Full-time availability with some weekend availability - Dermatology experience preferred

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent - CPR certification - Previous experience in a healthcare setting

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Ability to handle confidential information - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Pay

$18.50 per hour (Supplemental pay eligible)

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 7:00pm (with potential for weekend shifts)
