Derivatives Confirmations Vice President

About the role

This role sits at the center of Front Office, Operations, and Technology, driving risk mitigation, process optimization, and operational excellence in the Derivatives Confirmations function.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Confirmations team, ensuring timely and accurate trade documentation
• Oversee global confirmations processes and proactively manage operational risk and trade breaks
• Partner with Front Office, Settlements, Margin, and Technology to support business objectives
• Drive process improvements, automation, and strategic initiatives across the confirmations lifecycle
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain strong control frameworks
• Act as a senior point of contact for escalation and stakeholder engagement
• Contribute to system enhancements, new product onboarding, and industry initiatives

Requirements

• 8+ years of financial services experience, including 3+ years in confirmations/documentation
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
