Subject to management approval, this position will manage and direct operations for a specified shift for the Departments 24 hour/7 day per week Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline and will oversee assigned Call Center Team Supervisors. Additionally, the position will develop strategies and monitor activities to ensure the consistent application of child protection policies and procedures involved in the reporting, evaluation, and retrieval of child abuse and neglect information. Serves as full line supervisor. Possesses significant authority to function in the capacity of the Deputy Director to determine and implement a specific course of action with regard to child protection issues. Develops and implements a program of staff development and training for subordinate staff. Provide extensive input and makes recommendations regarding annual budget plans for SCR as a whole. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonabl y within scope of the duties enumerated above.
