Deputy Program Manager / Operations Lead (Remote) - Clearance Required

About the Role

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Business Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily program operations across multiple software development workstreams
• Develop and maintain program management plans and operational dashboards
• Coordinate program reviews, status meetings, and customer engagements
• Monitor program performance on cost, schedule, staffing, and deliverables
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of contract deliverables and reports
• Manage day-to-day contract operations and financials including invoicing and procurement
• Prepare monthly financial reports and operational summaries for leadership

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in program or business operations within government or defense programs
• Experience with software development and digital transformation programs
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at preparing executive-level documents
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$145,000 – $245,000 annually
