The Deputy PM at Prescient Edge supports a Federal Government client. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Description

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) shall report to and provide support to the PM. The DPM creates and manages processes that enable Mission Leads and other contract personnel to focus on daily operations. The DPM is expected to spend 80% of his/her workweek collocated with the bulk of the CME Workforce. The government customer requires the DPM to assume all administrative responsibilities and to alleviate such responsibilities from the Mission Leads. The DPM is only required if exercised as a part of surge. The following tasks will be performed in conjunction with the PM:

  • Human Resource Management and contract fill-rate
  • Hiring and termination processes
  • Management of nonoperational disciplinary issues
  • Onboarding and in-processing
  • Personnel Status (PERSTAT) reports
  • Schedule and task performance
  • Oversight
  • Timekeeping and timecard approval
  • Administrative support to Mission Leads and contract workforce
  • Expert knowledge of the intelligence cycle and the analytical process that acts on collection to produce information for intelligence databases and products.
  • Knowledge of intelligence oversight and security guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills in order to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Certification as a Program Management Professional (or equivalent).

Requirements

  • Superior understanding of DoD Intelligence processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools with general understanding of GEOINT operations.
  • Knowledge of and experience in planning and executing technical studies and reports for computer systems and computer networks.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Irregular Warfare concepts and operations.

Education

  • MA or MS degree in Business, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 6 years of management experience, including 6 years of supervisory experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services;
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 10 years of management experience, including 6 years of supervisory experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services.

Security Clearance

Active TS/SCI and with the ability to obtain a CI Poly if needed.

Location

Fort Gordon, GA.
