Deputy Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Single POC for contract performance.
• Led team project execution.
• Plans & directs the timely & successful completion of Statement of Work efforts.
• Tracks & reports program metrics: (Cost/Schedule/Technical/Operational/Quality).
• Ensures systems are built to meet performance, security, and functional requirements.
• Creates, reviews & maintains programmatic/technical artifacts.
• Manages resources to deliver qualified, properly cleared personnel to address customer tasks.
• Establishes training plans to maintain and evolve skills, while ensuring no single points of failure within the program.
• Prepares and presents briefings, white papers, use cases and concept papers to capture future system changes for customer decision making.
• Manage the relationship with the customer, Nightwing, and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management.
• Project Management Professional Certification.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise with Network Engineering management and design.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to set and manage expectations for scope, schedule, budget, risk and quality.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with collaborative project management tools.
• Managing global dispersed teams.

Skills

• Understanding of the customer and the Intelligence Community.
• Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.

About the Role

Nightwing is seeking a talented Deputy Program Manager to lead a dynamic network engineering team in a unique mission space. This position will work closely with the customer, the project integrator, the network engineers and architects to ensure our systems meet customer requirements and timelines.
