Deputy Director (PROGRAM MANAGER SENIOR II) Compliance Division

This is a position-specific recruitment for a Management Service role serving at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority. The role is based in Baltimore City, MD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, evaluate, and provide updates and recommendations for Compliance Division operations.
• Monitor Division participation in ongoing Agency projects.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the different business units within the Compliance Division.
• Participate in the evaluation, creation, or updating of the Division’s policies and/or procedures relating to training, internal/external audits, new processes, new implementations, or any other operational matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. For education obtained outside the U.S., proof of equivalent American education is required via a foreign credential evaluation service.
• Five years of professional work experience in managing and/or directing a business operation or project(s).
• Candidates may substitute an additional four years of experience for a bachelor's degree.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Must successfully undergo fingerprinting upon appointment; disqualifying charges include any felony, crimes of moral turpitude, identity theft, assault, battery, or distribution of controlled dangerous substances (excluding marijuana).
• Must be at least 18 years of age due to the nature of the agency's business.
