Deputy Director of Operations, Outpatients
About the role
The role provides strategic and operational leadership for Specialist Clinics, supporting more than 315,000 outpatient appointments annually across medical, surgical, nursing and allied health services. Based within the Emergency, Virtual Care and Outpatients Program.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams across referral management, GP liaison, clinic administration, data and informatics
- Drive service excellence, access reform and transformation
- Build strong relationships with clinical and external stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic priorities across a leading Victorian health service
Requirements
You will be a collaborative and experienced healthcare leader with strong operational, clinical and improvement expertise. You Will Have A relevant degree in healthcare, management, change management or a related field
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, project management, analytical and communication skills
- Experience in specialist outpatient services, access reform, health service operations or a complex clinical environment is highly regarded
