Responsibilities

  • Provides supervision and motivation to staff and residents within an assigned facility.
  • Ensures facility compliance with Company and client contract requirements.
  • Supervises the Business Office staff, Medical staff, Teachers, Storekeeper, Facility Coordinator, Program Activities, Classification, and Kitchen activities and staff.
  • Conducts internal audits to ensure compliance.
  • Monitors facility activities and inspects for general adherence to established Company procedures, cleanliness, safety, and security.
  • Functions as Director when Director is absent/off premises.
  • Conducts tours of the facility.
  • Serves as member of QM Committee.
  • Completes monthly reports.
  • Functions as a liaison with the client at all times.
  • Hires and manages work activities during 90-day orientation period for new hires within assigned departments and oversees staff training.
  • Serves on the training committee.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
