About the role

The Deputy County & Prosecuting Attorney is responsible for providing legal advice and support to the county and prosecuting attorney in matters related to criminal law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal guidance and representation in criminal cases
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence
  • Prepare and present legal arguments in court
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • Member in good standing of the bar of the state of [State]
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
